Here you'll find answers to frequently asked questions that will help you plan your stay at the Auberge. If you don't find the answer to your question here, please contact us and we'll add it to this page!

At what time can I proceed to check-in on arrival day?

You may check in from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. However, you may arrive before and enjoy the facilities, even if your room is not yet ready. If the reserved room is available upon your arrival, we will gladly hand you the keys.

At what time do I have to proceed to check-out on the day of departure?

You must proceed to check-out no later than noon on the day of departure. If you want to extend your stay we will inform you the same day according to availability.

Is there carpet in the rooms?

There is carpet in our rooms at the Pavillon de la Mer and the Pavillon des Îles. It is a hypoallergenic carpet and promotes soundproofing. In all our other rooms, it is a laminated wood floor.

Do I need to show identification at check-in?

If you present a valid credit card upon arrival, no identification is required. However, if the stay is paid for in cash at the time of arrival, a valid driver's license is required.

What are the main points of interest near the hotel?

Our receptionists will be able to inform you of current attractions and events, but not far from the Auberge you have access to Parc de la Pointe and the Rivière-du-Loup marina where Croisières AML and Duvetnor depart. For hiking, the Kiskotuk Park in Cacouna and the Parc des chutes in downtown Rivière-du-Loup are a 5-minute drive away.

Is there luggage storage?

Yes, the hotel offers a free luggage storage service.

How many levels does the hotel have? Do you have an elevator?

The Pavilion with the most floors is the Mer Pavilion with 3 floors. We have an elevator that allows access to the 3 floors of the Mer Pavilion and to the 2 floors of the Îles Pavilion.

Is the hotel non-smoking?

Yes, the entire hotel is smoke-free including the balconies of the rooms.

Is there a laundry service?

We can refer you to a laundry facility, but we do not offer on-site service.

Do you have charging stations for electric vehicles?

We have four charging stations for electric vehicles located in the front parking lot of the hotel. The use is without reservation.
